Create online / web based bitcoin address without account?
It's been a long time since I've been involved with bitcoin but there used to be a webpage that would simply generate a bitcoin address with a click of a button. No account required. But I can't seem to find it. Anyone have any recommendations or suggestions so I don't need to give personal info? I don't intend to use the address for storage just for simple transfer.

Hi all, My memory's a bit foggy, but I recall mining a few Bitcoin back in the Early Days (2009-2010ish). At the time, there wasn't much to do with Bitcoins (recall the 10,000 BTC pizza), so after a week or so of tinkering (including moving some BTC to an early web-based Bitcoin wallet whose name escapes me just to see what transferring BTC was like) I quickly lost interest, uninstalled the Bitcoin Core software, and went on with my life. Recently, I've been tempted to see if that online wallet service (a) still exists and (b) if my early BTC are still there. However, I can't recall the name of the service and can only vaguely describe the web interface (extremely simple in operation, consisting of white or other light colors -- can you tell my memory sucks for this?). Is there some list of all the various early online Bitcoin wallet services? If so, where would one find such a list? Anyone remember any early such services that might not be on the lists? Thanks!
Please read this if you plan on making a web based bitcoin service.
Please take security seriously! It's great that more and more people are developing these services, but not when you put your users at risk. Too many people are choosing bitcoin as their first web projects, and it's just plain dangerous if you don't know what you're doing. I have two recent examples (which will go unnamed for obvious reasons). Bitcoin sites that went through beta testing, eventually launches, everyone's happy. People are already using the sites. I do a quick run through - both of these sites are vulnerable to sql injection and xss. I was able to confirm that these vulnerabilities allowed for a malicious user to steal bitcoins or take over the site. If you are running a website which handles anything valuable, this is completely unacceptable. You went through the effort of programming everything, integrating bitcoin service, and making sure it works. There is no reason you should not make sure you're secure. It's outrageous that in 2012, we still have to talk about these vulnerabilities. If you take your website seriously, please either:
Learn to code securely
Find someone who can
Hire someone to audit your site
And for the love of bitcoins, please do not use shitty ecommerce scripts and hack in bitcoin service. These websites are almost always end up really shoddy, the developers become unfamiliar with most of the codebase, and the site eventually gets owned because you can't apply updates any more. Just don't do it. When you have poor security, your site gets hacked. When your site gets hacked, your bitcoins get stolen. When bitcoins get stolen, bitcoins get a bad reputation. Don't give bitcoins a bad reputation. Sorry for the rant, but I think someone had to say it. tl;dr security is a serious thing, don't fuck it up
Is anyone aware of a web-based bitcoin node monitor?
I have been running a full bitcoind node on a server for a year or so and I'd like to get web-based stats on the node when I query it. I could scribble something up that would do this, but it wouldn't be pretty - the tools have existed for a long time, so I'm pretty sure it exists, I just can't find it.
Hello reddit, I need someone to help with an idea I had: since Apple does not allow the use of virtual currencies on its App Store, why not create a web app that allows the user to pay a seller on the spot (POS)? Basically, the web app would utilize the "upload" HTML tag that directs the user to their camera on their phone. They then take a picture of a QR code, which contains the sellecashier's address to send to and the amount to pay. The web app parses the QR code and the user presses "Pay" to send the given amount to the seller's address. I figure that I could use Coinbase's API so I wouldn't have to store any bitcoins. Can anyone help me with this project?
What is the most reliable web based bitcoin wallet?
Right now I don't have my own computer, but I bounce around from different computers to get online. I plan on buying around $45 worth of bitcoins and letting them sit for a little while. I want to get my own bitwallet online, but don't want to risk losing my coins. Suggestions?
libraries and implementation discussions for web-based bitcoin payments
who has blogged or implemented tools for accepting bitcoin on a website? while it's easy to just post an address, I'd like tools for generating a new address per user, and then confirming the payment wit h the web framework. I expect most of this is framework dependent - so tools for PhP, Rails, Wordpress, etc. Who's done this?
